
In January 1906 Master builder Thomas Conolly, having recently completed St Columba's Church, Iona Road, received a commission to build two houses on Iona road No. 62 and No. 64. As a consequence of the ownership of no. 62 not changing since 1960 all the period features have been carefully retained up to and including the maid's bell.
